Ho Shin Do

    Ho Shin Do means "Korean Art of Self Defense" and was developed by Master Carroll and Master Tommy Cho some years ago. This form would be considered a nontraditional style since it blends many different fighting styles; however, in terms of philosophy, it is very much "traditional" in nature.

Tae Kwon Do

    Tae Kwon Do is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts that teaches more than just physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that enhances our life through the training of our body and mind.

Tang Soo Do

Tang Soo Do, meaning “Way of the hand of the Tang Dynasty” or “Way of China Hand” is a traditional Korean martial art that is primarily geared toward self defense.  Often considered a hard style martial art, Tang Soo Do draws its influences from older native Korean arts such as Soo Bahk Do and Taekyon, Northern and Southern Chinese Kung Fu Systems, and highly resembles Okinawan / Japanese forms of Karate.   Although the arts history is difficult to credit to one person, it is generally accepted that grandmaster Hwang Kee of the original Moo Duk Kwan organization is the man most Tang Soo Do martial artists trace their lineage too.

The art of Tang Soo Do consists mainly of hard blocking, punching and kicking techniques, forms (Hyungs), and sparring and self defense drills.  Even though it is a hard style, many soft style applications can be seen in the forms, which is characteristic of the Chinese systems that TSD was influenced by. 

Jiu Jitsu

Danzan Ryu Jujitsu is a system of martial arts founded in the early 20th century by Professor Henry Seishiro Okazaki (1890-1951).

Jujitsu is a system of unarmed self-defense that was practiced by the warrior class of Japan as an auxiliary art to the bow, spear, and sword. It was later practiced by commoners who were by law forbidden to carry arms. Its earliest forms were crude but effective throws, chokes, joint-locks, and strikes (kicks and punches) to vital points of the body.

Danzan Ryu Jujitsu is best described as a synthesis of the best techniques of the ancient Jujitsu schools, Okinawan Karate, Chinese Kung-Fu, Hawaiian Lua, Filipino knife fighting, and traditional Japanese restorative massage and healing techniques.

Hap Ki Do

Hap Ki Do is the name of the Korean traditional self-defense art. Literally translated, "Hap" means harmony, "Ki" refers to energy or power, "Do" is the oriental designation of way of, method or in this particular case, art. Hap Ki Do combines joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and strikes for practical self-defense. Hap Ki Do is more soft than hard and more internal than external, but elements of each are included. It emphasizes circular motion, non-resistive movements, and control of the opponent.
